The boost instructions say: "When roasting larger batches remove the chaff collector over the bean tray/bowl to catch any beans that fell above the boost ring."
Is this trying to say: "AFTER roasting larger batches, check the chaff collector for beans that escaped the chamber"?
Boost instructions say remove the chaff collector?
Re: Boost instructions say remove the chaff collector?
I think.... and you will see when you have done as I did ...
When I roast 200g of Brazil origin the end resulted roasted bens expand and you can see it over the top of booster.
If you take whole things off from roaster, you r bas will all over the counter.
Also, you should dump the chaff from every bach, especially with new corrector.
In addition, I found more beans in correcter with larger batch.
So the nuts shell, check the end result volume in chamber,

So basically, I worked this out when beta testing in Australia. Anything over 150g will sit higher than the boost ring, so if you take the chaff collector off without having the unit over a tray or somewhere to catch your beans, you will have beans all over the floor or bench or where ever you are. Just be warned
