Hi all,
I have been roasting for some years now, using a number of different pans over gas flames. I have realised that the variability in results was caused by my inability to make repeatable settings to the gas flow rate on our kitchen stove. So, I defaulted back to a constant gas rate for each batch(!). The spread of results was quite drinkable. Visitors found it quite good.
The KL roaster is going well and results are quite repeatable. I am roasting batches every 3 days.
Here’s my Ode to Kaffelogic’s RTD coffee.
Good, better, best;
Never let it rest (for more than 3 days),
‘Till your good (just after roasting) is better (on the second day),
And your better, best (on the third day?).
